Every marker photographs beautifully. Ask what it looks like in September.
Get Custom Golf Ball Markers makes markers to order — die-struck enamel, magnetic hat clip sets, divot tool sets, poker-chip markers, printed and domed markers, and counted tournament packs.

A ball marker spends its life in a pocket with tees, coins and a set of car keys. That is the environment the product actually has to survive, and it is the one nobody quotes for.
On a die-struck enamel marker the design is raised metal lines with colour recessed between them. Every rub lands on metal, so the colour is untouched. On a printed marker the graphic sits under a clear epoxy dome, and the dome takes those same rubs — it goes hazy with fine scratches, and prolonged sunlight yellows it.
Both are real products and both have their place. What we will not do is photograph the enamel one and ship the domed one.
Why we exist
Markers get quoted as a unit price on a photograph, from suppliers who do not mention finish, magnet strength or metal gauge.
So the domed marker is hazy by August. The hat clip set loses its marker on the walk to the second green, or the clip is dragged off the cap every time the marker is taken. And the divot tool prongs splay outward on the third use and never come back.
Enamel, and which kind
Soft enamel leaves the metal lines standing proud of a slightly textured colour surface. Hard enamel is polished level so metal and colour are flush, and it reads as jewellery.
Both hold their colour indefinitely. The choice is look and budget, not durability, and the two are nearly indistinguishable in a photograph and obviously different in the hand — which is why we send samples.
The magnet is the product
Almost every marker now lives on a hat clip or in a divot tool, so the magnet is the entire retention mechanism.
Too weak and the marker is lost, usually unnoticed. Too strong and taking the marker pulls the clip off the cap brim, so the clip is lost instead. We match the magnet to the clip and the marker weight rather than fitting the strongest available, and we state on the quote what has been fitted.
Gauge, not adjectives
A divot tool is a lever pushed into compacted turf. Thin metal splays and stays splayed.
So we quote a gauge rather than calling a tool sturdy, and we will tell you when a design — a very slim body, a long thin prong — is going to fail whatever we plate it with.
Two things about the green itself
A marker sits behind the ball and other players putt over it, so profile matters. We keep markers as thin as the construction allows and flag chip designs that push it.
And under the Rules a ball-marker may not be used to help line up a putt. Lines on a marker are decoration, not an aiming aid, and we say so rather than selling an “alignment marker” to somebody who plays competitively.
How we price
No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with finish, plating, magnet, tool gauge and quantity, and it falls steeply at club and event volumes. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one.
What we will talk you out of
A domed marker for a cap that lives in the sun. The strongest available magnet. A slim divot tool that will splay. And a chip marker so thick that the fourball behind will notice it.
Every one of those costs us money to say and saves you more.
